Apply for the Tunes of Tomorrow Program

Tunes of Tomorrow is a partnership between Believe In A Dream and the Pearl Arts Innovation Institute.

It will help aspiring young musicians and music industry professionals achieve their dreams and learn the intricacies of the music industry.

Students will work in teams to create an original composition.  They will rehearse and record the songs, including mixing and mastering to make them sound great.  They will then promote the songs, including designing a logo, learning about copyrighting, and creating merchandise.  

This will culminate in a final student-led showcase of their work.

Key details:

  • Tunes of Tomorrow will meet Thursdays January 8th through April 9th, 2026 from 6:30-8pm.

  • The meeting location will be the Pearl Arts Innovation Institute.

  • This program is open to all students age 13-18 irrespective of school district.

  • We are looking for a mix of students including writers, session musicians and producers/ engineers.

  • There is a $250 fee to cover the instructor and materials.  Scholarships are available through Believe In A Dream.

Once you have submitted your application, you will be asked to submit a video or audio file of some of your current work by December 23rd. We will review all applications and let you know if you have been accepted by December 30th. If you have been accepted, you will then be asked to pay the $250 registration fee, or you can request a scholarship at that time.
