Note from the Director

“The common thread in the many Believe in a Dream programs is that we love students realizing what they’re capable of. The Master the Music program is near and dear to my heart as I’ve been able to be part of it from the start. To be able to see students from various backgrounds and ages, come together and instead of competing, they are collaborating and creating.

Through the Master the Music program, students come together realizing that music can go beyond their classroom, beyond their school. We push to “think outside the auditorium” offering different performance opportunities to our students in String Jams, working to take the stress and anxiety out of performing so students can enjoy the process of music, what music does for them and just the joy of performing. They explore different styles of music and find out what else they can do while developing passion that can go past graduation and last a lifetime.”
