The Kosciusko Student Venture Challenge (KSVC) is a county-wide entrepreneurship program that helps high school students turn ideas into real, viable business ventures. Designed for students across Kosciusko County who are curious about innovation, problem-solving, and building something of their own, KSVC bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.
Through hands-on experiences and guidance from local business mentors, students move from concept to execution while gaining practical insight into what it takes to launch and grow an idea.
Program Launched: January 2024
First Showcase: May 2024
Young Entrepreneurs Impacted Annually: 50+
Participating Community & Business Leaders Annually: 50-75
Funds Provided to Young Entrepreneurs Through Awards & Scholarships: $10,000+
Throughout the program, students strengthen critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills while gaining confidence and real-world experience. KSVC helps students see entrepreneurship as an attainable pathway and equips them with skills that apply across industries and future career paths.
